    Our world is beset by challenges that transcend national borders-climate change, migration, economic interdependence, to name a few -yet nations often compete, rather than collaborate, to address them. The world needs leaders, and citizens to elect them, who understand that national interests are compatible with global interests. Making Global Learning Universal: Promoting Inclusion and Success for All Students (Stylus & NAFSA, 2018) is based on the premise that all students can and should be educated for effective national and global citizenship.

    Providing examples of practice, authors Hilary Landorf, Stephanie Doscher, and Jaffus Hardrick:
    • Offer a model to make global learning universal in higher education institutions of all sizes and types;
    • Provide a definition of global learning that incorporates diversity, collaboration, and problem solving as essential components;
    • Describe effective leadership for implementation consistent with the attributes of global learning;
    • Illustrate integrative, high-impact global learning strategies within the access pipeline, students' coursework, and co-curricular activities;
    • Offer practical strategies for global learning professional development, student learning assessment, and program evaluation;
    • Promote inclusive excellence through universal global learning.

    Making Global Learning Universal: Promoting Inclusion and Success for All Students is available through Stylus, NAFSA, and Amazon
