    Dear Colleagues, the Research in Social Sciences and Technology  (RESSAT) Editorial Board and guest editor Anatoli Rapoport (Purdue University) invite manuscripts that investigate the impact of digital technology on global citizenship education for publication in the RESSAT special issue The Impact of Technology on Global Citizenship Education.

     Research in Social Sciences and Technology  (RESSAT) is an international journal that publishes scholarly work in social sciences and technology and their impact on education. RESSAT is an open access journal, with free access for each visitor. The journal uses an online submission system to ensure international visibility and a rigid peer review process. The journal is published twice a year in an online version.
    Interested authors should submit abstracts of up to 300 words and identify their future manuscript as an empirical research article or essay/opinion paper. Research articles should include a review of literature, clearly stated research question, methodology/design of the study, findings, and discussion/conclusion.
    Special issue timeline:
    • Submit abstract to Anatoli Rapoport rapoport@purdue.edu by April 1, 2019.
    • Invitation to submit manuscript – by April 20, 2019
    • Initial draft of the manuscript to guest editor – by September 1, 2019
    • Reviewed draft back to authors – by October 10, 2019
    • Revised manuscripts to journal and guest editor – by November 15, 2019
    • The RESSAT special issue The Impact of Technology on Global Citizenship Education is scheduled for publication in December 2019.
    Authors must adhere to the guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th Edition.
    Manuscripts must be submitted as Microsoft Word (.doc) or Rich Text Format (.rtf) and must be double spaced using a 12-point font in Times New Roman.
    Recommended manuscript length is 4000 - 6000 words, excluding references and abstract.
    Include an abstract of 300 words or less.
    Include a title page with author/s contact information. If the manuscript has more than one author, please indicate which author is acting as the contact person.
    Include a statement indicating that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
