    If you teach at the high school or college level and are interested in the topic of global climate change, you might enjoy a 42-minute film "A Siege of Salt and Sand" about the impact of rising sea levels and desertification on Tunisia. My high school students (always a tough audience) always liked this film - and you can find it online too.
    The University of Arizona Center for Middle Eastern Studies is holding a free public film screening and discussion with filmmaker Sam McNeil on Wednesday, November 18, from 4:30 pm Arizona/Mountain Time (which is 6:30 pm Eastern Time). McNeil, a professional journalist, made this film as his master's thesis for a dual degree in Journalism and Middle Eastern & North African Studies.
