    HI Friends of NCSS Community,  Our list of activities this year in San Francisco are listed below.  Please invite your high school based friends to attend the Global Glimpse presentation on Friday, Nov 17th at 8:45 am to learn about a wonderful interactive experiential learning experience for high school students.  Our business meeting will take place on Saturday mroning from 9:15-10:15 in the Laurel Hill romm on the 4th floor.  This year, in addition to the 2 Community Showcases on Friday and Saturday, we will also be participating in a Community Lounge from 2:15- 3:15, welcoming first time attendees. 

    We are looking forward to making new connections and renewing old ones.


    Unlock Student Potential to Effect Change Locally and Globally

    Explore an innovative model for global education and leadership development that provides access for students from all backgrounds. Global Glimpse's two-year, school-based program provides high school students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds with a global perspective and the skills, perspective, confidence, and motivation needed for college and career success. Through the Global Glimpse program students develop global competence, civic engagement, youth leadership, and college readiness, inspiring and empowering youth to become agents of change in their local communities and in the greater global community. Participants will learn about the benefits to all involved in the Global Glimpse program in Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Ecuador through first hand accounts from educators and students.
