    Proposals for the 2017 NCSS Annual Conference in San Fransisco is now being accepted until February 27, 2017.

    Geography proposals can be submitted as a Pre-Conference Clinic (3 or 6 hours); Sessions (1 hour); Poster presentation (1 hour); Power Session (30 Minutes) or a Workshop (90 minutes). The Conference theme is Expand Visions/Bride Traditions and submissions should address: Media literacy; Teaching students in a rapidly changing world; Globalization and global interdependence; Technology and change in the social studies classroom; Cultivating empathy through instruction and Expanding visions/Bridging traditions.

    Let's make the 2017 NCSS Conference strong with outstanding geography sessions.
