A Peace Of Science: Diplomacy with North Korea is a free 30 minute educational documentary with a focus on science diplomacy between the United States and North Korea. Created by the Global Co Lab Network with funding from the Henry Luce Foundation, the documentary is aimed at students and practitioners in policy, international relations, diplomacy, conflict resolution, peace-building, science diplomacy, and Asian affairs. Given your expertise, we believe the documentary and its corresponding resource page may be of interest to your community. To date, the documentary has been screened by the National Committee on North Korea, US Institute of Peace, Stimson Center and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. You can watch the AAAS screening here.
Our goal is for the documentary to be viewed by as many students and practitioners as possible for the purpose of stimulating conversation, awareness, and understanding of the value of science engagement. We invite you to preview the documentary on our website, consider using the four page background reading guide with your students, and if you can, send us a short survey about the experience. All info you need is on our website here: https://www.globalcolab.net/diplomacy-with-nk/.
Finally we are available if you would like to provide a few individuals who can talk about the documents with your students should you be interested. Please contact LINDA STAHELI Founding Director of the Co Lab at firstname.lastname@example.org
