State Level Advocacy Issues and Efforts - Connecticut's Experience
Dear NCSS Members:
In an effort to keep you up to date on state level issues and advocacy efforts, and assist you in connecting with colleagues leading those efforts, we are pleased to invite you to join us for our very first State/Local Advocacy Webinar, which we hope will become a state advocacy webinar series running on the fourth Thursday of every month. This new series would run parallel to the federal advocacy webinar series that takes place on the third Wednesday of every month.
Please, don't hesitate to share this with any other colleagues or networks that you feel would benefit from participating.
Join us on Thursday, March 27, 3:00pm East Coast time, for a webinar on Connecticut’s experience in advocating for social studies at the state level.
Please forward to your membership network.
Presenters David Bosso and John Tully will discuss the steps their council has taken in their legislative efforts to address critical social studies issues in Connecticut.
To register for this free webinar please click (or cut and paste onto your browser) on this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KS8ZJTQ.
You will receive information on accessing the webinar the day prior to the webinar.
We look forward to your participation!
Sincerely,
Ana Post
